Dear Parents/ Guardians,

Another busy week has passed by.

Here are afew updates

Camogie Rackard League Co. Final

A massive well done to our Camogie Rackard League team who played their Co. Final on Tuesday, in Chadwick's Wexford Park, against Kilmuckridge. Unfortunately, the scoreline didn't go our way. However, we are immensely proud of all our girls for representing our school so well.

5th and 6th class Rounders Blitz

5th and 6th class boys and girls took part in a Rounders Blitz in St. Martin's GAA pitch on Tuesday also. The girls won their matches against Murrintown and Taghmon, losing one match to Barntown. The boys won their match against Taghmon, losing to Murrintown and Barntown. Well done everyone!

Girls Rounders

The girls are playing this morning in Tagoat GAA pitch at 10.30. We wish them all the best.

Boys Rounders

The boys will play their next Rounders match on Monday May 18th in Adamstown at 1.30pm. Collection from school is 1pm.

Swedish visitors

Next Tuesday May 19th & Wednesday May 20th, we welcome a group of Erasmus visitors from Sweden, 2 teachers and 16 students. They will be greet by our Erasmus team and will be involved in our day to day school experience.

June school closure

A reminder that school will be closed Mon 1st June - 5th inclusive. School will reopen Mon June 8th.

Standarised tests

We will be completing standarised testing over the next 2 weeks from Senior infants to 6th class. These tests are nothing for you or your child to worry about. They will give us a snapshot of their abilities in Literacy, Numeracy and Spelling on a particular day. Some children will complete the tests online.
