Dear Parents/Guardians,
School will close next Tues. Sept. 15th.
We received notification that the school has to close next Tuesday Sept. 15th due to electrical upgrades. This is an inconvenience but we cannot be witout electricity in the school now for many different reasons.
GAA
The boys and girls play in Grantstown v Fethard in the first Rackard League matches next Thurs. Sept 17th at 1.30pm. They can be collected from school at 1.10pm.
Swimming
First swim lesson is next Thurs. Sept. 17th. The children should come to school with togs/swim shorts on as the bus will leave at 11.15am for Wexford Swimming Pool in Ferrybank. We remind parents to please pay for the swim lessons as soon as possible on the Aladdin link sent out. We thank the Parents and Friends' Group for their contribution towards the cost of the bus which makes it cheaper for everyone.
Book Bills, Hoodies and Insurance
Please ensure that these bills are paid by the end of Sept. An Aladdin link has been sent for all of those.
Erasmus
An Aladdin link also went out for Erasmus. This is a once off payment of fifty euros. All other costs are covered by the Erasmus funding. I will send out an Itinerary for the trip next week with a list of the items needed. The pupils will have one check in bag of 10kg.
Thanks everyone,
Audrey
