🚸 A Little Reminder About Our School Car Park 🚸

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Just a little reminder about using the school car park at drop-off and collection times. We have noticed some children being dropped off in areas that are not safe, with cars stopping very close to the road and children getting out between vehicles.

We are also finding it increasingly difficult for Davy to safely manoeuvre and park the large school bus when cars are parked along the road and around the entrance. This creates a potentially dangerous situation for our children and for everyone using the car park.

Could we please ask everyone to start using the large Church car park where possible? This would make a huge difference and would allow children to walk safely from the Church car park to the school rather than having cars and children all competing for space at the school entrance.

We would also love to hear from a parent/guardian who might be willing to lead a small group of children from the Church car park down to the school in the mornings – almost like a lollipop person role. If someone would be happy to take this on, even on certain mornings, please get in touch with the school. It could make a real difference.

We know mornings can be busy and that everyone is trying to get children safely into school as quickly as possible. However, we really want to avoid an accident happening before we have to make changes.

Our little people are our priority, and we would really appreciate everyone's cooperation in keeping them safe, visible and away from moving cars and buses.

Thank you so much for your understanding and support. ❤️

Together, we can keep our children safe.

Audrey
